Water pumps
The first thing you need to consider when it comes to water pumps is what type of water pump do you have? The most common water pumps used in recreational vehicles are either a submersible pump or a pressure water pump.
By far the easiest way to find out what type of pump you have is to find out where the pump is located. If it's a submersible water pump, it sits inside your water tank directly in the water.
If, on the other hand, it is a pressurized water pump you have, the manufacturer can put it in a few different places, but the most common is still in connection with the water tank in, for example, a cabinet, under the seating area or out in the garage space.
-Submersible pump
When it comes to submersible pumps, it is important that you choose a new pump with the same connection we had on the previous one, or that you buy with transitions to make it fit into the existing system.
In addition to this, there are some pumps with & without check valves attached, you do not have to use a check valve if you do not want to, but if you change from it, you must keep in mind that the water hose may not reach all the way to the pump as the check valve is often built a good distance from the pump.
Something else to consider is the strength of the pump you choose. some things to consider are e.g. What do you use the pump for? Do you have a shower? Do you think the current pump is too weak?
For example, if the pump is for a smaller system where you only use the water to wash your hands from time to time, a weaker pump may be enough, while if you have a system with a shower, it may be better to aim for a slightly stronger pump to get some pressure in the shower head.
However, it is not always easy to change up because the stronger the pump, the more power it draws, so the next thing to consider is whether your fuse can handle a stronger pump? In many cases this is not a problem, but you may blow the fuse if you install a pump that is too strong. In some cases, you can just change to a stronger fuse in that case.

When it comes to window moldings, there are a few different types of windows, we list them below with tips.
-Opening window with rubber strip over the frame
When you have a window that just hangs in an aluminum strip on the wall and then a rubber strip over the frame, after a few years you may need to replace this strip because it has dried in the sun or been damaged elsewhere. What you need to look at when looking for new moldings for this type of window is what thickness you have on the wall as this is what determines which moldings will fit the window.
For these moldings, there is also a "Center strip" this is called differently by different suppliers but in our case we stick to the word center strip. This is a strip that is in a groove in the rubber strip and strengthens the strip so that it stays in place better. This often shrinks after a couple of years in the sun and starts to hang in the window. to find the right one, simply measure the width of the center strip and replace it. It is available in many widths and colors but most common is 23-25mm wide. If you have a width that we do not have on the website, you can contact us and we will see if it is possible to order it for you.
-Frame windows
If you have a window where there is a thicker frame around the entire window, there is normally a sealing strip between the frame & window and a strip between the frame & body. It also happens that there is no strip between the frame & body but there is only sealant instead.
If you are looking for a sealing strip for a window like this, it is difficult to find on your own. We recommend that you look at the pictures we have on the moldings and see if it is similar otherwise send us an e-mail with what kind of caravan / motorhome you have (preferably a reg. number as well) and a picture of the box. There is also a small sticker with div number on the box in one of the corners, you are welcome to send a picture of this as well. After we receive this, we look in our systems if we can see which list you should have.
-Fixed window with rubber strip
If you have a fixed window that sits in a rubber strip, ie not openable and need to replace this strip, it is also in this case the wall thickness that is of great importance but also the thickness of the glass. We have a few models on the website here that you can look at, but otherwise we recommend that you contact us in advance so that we can check if there is any information about which strip it should be. Even for these rubber moldings, there is a wedge strip that can be changed, but it is very rarely necessary to change it unless you also change the rubber strip.
Inlay moldings, decorative moldings, plastic moldings that sit over the screws in aluminum profiles
These moldings have many names from different suppliers, but in all cases it is the plastic strip itself that sits in a groove in the aluminum moldings on the outside of the caravan / motorhome.
There are many different models of these moldings but we try to have the most common ones in stock. The easiest way to see which molding you should have is to measure the existing molding and then compare it to the pictures we have on the products and see that the measurement is the same. However, what you have to keep in mind with the measurement is that these moldings shrink in the sun so after a few years the molding may be smaller than it should be, so if you find a molding that is similar to the molding you are looking for but it is e.g. 1-2mm larger, it may well be the right molding anyway.

Water taps
Water taps come in a couple of different designs e.g. low bodies, long ejector pipes, with shower or without, cold water only or both cold & hot water.
When deciding which faucet is suitable, you must first think about where this faucet is located, for example, if it is under a glass lid in the kitchen, you should choose a lower model with a fold-down ejector pipe. The next thing to consider is which faucet will fit? All faucets are mounted in a hole in e.g. a sink, this hole is important for which faucet you can use.
If you have found a faucet that you really want to install but the hole size is not right, you can see if it is possible to adjust the size of the hole by sawing up or adding a cover plate.
The most common size of hole we have encountered is 33mm.
The next thing you need to know is what connection you have to the water, is it hard hose or soft hose? Is it 10mm or 12mm?
For hard hose you need a quick coupling on the faucet or also a hard hose on it so you have to put a splice connection between them. Quick couplings for hard hoses are called either JohnGuest or Uniquick coupling, these are available for both 10 & 12mm hoses.
When it comes to soft hose, you are looking for a hose coupling or something called x-fix coupling. If you have the right size of your hose, you can use x-fix instead of hose clamp, otherwise you can unscrew the nut completely from the x-fix coupling and this is a normal hose coupling after that.
When it comes to whether you have a submersible pump or a pressurized water pump that sends water to the taps, this also affects which tap you can use. A submersible pump requires that the faucet you install has a built-in switch in itself, or that you have a separately mounted switch just to start the pump.
However, if it is a pressurized water pump you have, it does not need a switch in this way, but it always keeps the pressure in the car as long as you have the system for it running. When you choose a faucet for this system, you can skip the switch completely, most faucets, however, have a switch in them already, then you can simply ignore connecting the cables to it and these faucets will also work for your system.
Traffic lighting
When it comes to traffic lighting, many manufacturers, especially Hella & Talmu, have been good and got ID numbers on the lamp glass so in many cases when you are looking for a lamp, it is enough to read the lamp glass directly and search for this number. an example of such a number is"E2 05024" then usually the "E" number is inside a circle so there are a couple of numbers either directly after or under the circle. if you search for this number on our website you will usually find the right one, not all numbers are posted but we are constantly working to update these as we receive more lamps or have questions about them. If you do not find the right lamp, you can contact us, please send a picture of the lamp, the number we describe above and which wagon / car it is mounted on and we will take a closer look at this.
Searchfor original parts
If you are looking for original parts for a specific brand, you are welcome to contact us directly and we will help with this. You can also look in the catalogs we have uploaded on the website if it comes to the brands Solifer, Polar, Sävsjö, Cabby & Smålandia, some times you can search directly for article numbers that are in these lists on our website to find the right one otherwise contact us and we will help you. If you are looking for parts for a refrigerator, it is also good if you send the production number of the refrigerator or the model designation of the refrigerator. This information can normally be found on a label inside the fridge, e.g. behind the vegetable drawer or on one of the side walls.
