Gorilla Epoxy takes epoxy to the next level, Gorilla level. Gorilla epoxy is made with a formula that provides high impact resistance and strength to handle the toughest projects. Plus, it's fast! Gorilla Epoxy cures in 5 minutes and can be handled in 90 minutes. Gorilla Epoxy is great for filling gaps and bonding steel, wood, aluminum, ceramics and more. Gorilla Epoxy is easy to use, waterproof, solvent resistant and safe for everyday handling.
Prepare your work surface and the surface to be bonded, if you are using Gorilla Epoxy for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend that you try a test piece first. Prepare your workplace: The use of epoxy is recommended in a well-ventilated area. If you want to make sure your workplace is protected from spills, lay out a non-sensitive surface such as a piece of cardboard.
Prepare the surface: To improve adhesion, roughen/sand smooth surfaces before gluing. Then clean and dry all surfaces to be bonded.
Press the plunger so that the amount of base and hardener is equal on a clean mixing surface. Outer packaging can be used as a mixing surface. Mix the two parts for a few minutes, until the color is uniform. Use within 5 minutes. As you mix, you will notice that the epoxy heats up. This is a reaction that occurs when base and hardener are mixed. The epoxy mixture will continue to thicken and the bond strength will decrease the longer you wait. To reach maximum bond strength, press the parts together with a clamp, glue jack or tape.
Working time 5 minutes to apply and place the surfaces in position. Curing time 30 minutes. Full cure time 100% after 24 hours at room temperature, in colder conditions curing may take longer. Storage: To close the package, hold it with the top pointing upwards, pull the flask back slightly, wipe the top with a clean cloth and put the cork (located in the center of the flask) on.
A clicking sound is heard when the cork is in place. Store in a cool, dry place. Visit our FAQ pages for more information on what materials Gorilla Epoxy can bond. First aid information see data sheet.
